Due to the increasing pressure to perform and stress in our society, the problem of grinding and/or clenching teeth is increasing. Sometimes this grinding/clenching happens during the day, but most often during sleep. This can cause a number of problems including frequent headaches and excessive wear, teeth can even crack or break.
Grinding teeth is often accompanied by pain in facial muscles and in the joints. Since 2015, after thorough research, we started treating patients with these complaints with botox (Azzalure® brand). Headaches reduce significantly or even completely for 3 to 5 months after botox treatment. Inform at our reception for pricing.
